BrooksI bought this primarily to try and get a little more gas mileage from my Dakota Quadcab. It accomplished that - I get 1 - 2 mpg better than before. I can definitely tell it increased my acceleration (which is nice, but makes it hard to get that extra mpg :-)I knew to expect some additional noise/sound under acceleration, but wasn't sure of the extent. It is substantial at certain rpms ! When cruising or coasting - no additional sound level, so that's all good. At certain rpms under 3/4 to full throttle - it is extremely loud. I like the sound for the most part (I love listening to all kinds of fast cars with good exhaust tones anyway...). The gasket that goes around the heat shield was somewhat difficult to install and the step-by-step directions were a little backward in places. I'm also not pleased with the way it fit in the vehicle. The IAC line extension really pushes against the oil cap. You practically have to wedge it against it. Aside from that, the install took me about an hour or so.I noticed maybe a slight difference in power. The sound is excellent. During normal driving, it sounds like stock, but gets fairly loud at high RPMs. Too early to tell if it helps the gas mileage at all. The Exterra was no slouch as far as performance goes but now it's even better it seems to have more power throughout the rpm range.
